Framed scratching, designed for the room
Art for the room. A scratching surface for the cat.
The Gallery Sisal Cat Scratcher pairs a warm solid wood frame with a naturally textured sisal surface, turning an everyday cat essential into a piece you will be happy to leave on display.
Description
Designed to read like framed textile art, Gallery gives cats a generous vertical surface for stretching and scratching without bringing the visual noise of a conventional scratcher into the room. The herringbone-patterned natural sisal offers satisfying texture, while the solid wood frame gives the piece a finished, furniture-like presence.
Lean it near a favorite scratching spot, or use the no-drill mounting method to place it on a suitable wall or cabinet door. Its low-mess surface provides an inviting alternative to sofas and other household furniture while keeping the room calm and considered.
Features & Details
- Decorative by design: A framed herringbone surface that looks at home alongside modern interiors.
- Natural scratching texture: Woven natural sisal gives claws a firm, tactile surface for daily scratching.
- Solid wood frame: Warm wood surrounds the scratching area for a refined, finished look.
- Three placement options: Lean it against a wall, mount it on a suitable wall, or place it on a compatible cabinet door.
- Vertical stretch space: The tall format supports the full-body reaching motion many cats naturally prefer.
- Low-mess alternative: Durable sisal helps keep loose scratching debris to a minimum compared with disposable cardboard surfaces.

Milo sat beside it and sniffed the frame on the first day. By the next morning, he was scratching the sisal.
Our orange cat ignored it at first, then started scratching after I ran my fingers over the sisal. He still uses the sofa sometimes, but he comes back to this every day.
Pepper gave it a few scratches after checking it out. It looks much better by the window than the loose scratch pad we had before.
Our cat prefers scratching upright, so the support stand works well for him. It took a little checking to assemble, but it feels steady once set up.
We tried it upright first, but she prefers it flat on the sofa. She scratches it, sits on it, and sometimes naps nearby.
We placed it where the afternoon sun comes in. She leans against the frame and usually scratches it after waking up.
It fits beside our coffee cabinet without making the area look cluttered. Our cat uses it most often in the evening.
The wood frame softens the gray wall and does not look out of place. Our cat gets a nice upright stretch when scratching.
Most scratchers look awkward in our living room. This one sits near the window and feels more like part of the decor.
